F.A.Q's

In this section we hope to be able to possibly answer some of your questions. If you still have an inquiry then please feel free to email us from the contact page.

1.) Do you mail order?

Yes we do mail order. Price of postage is dependant upon parcel size and your location. However, some items, such as starter batteries and paint can only be sent by courier. Electric racing batteries such as matched packs and stick packs are fine to be sent through Australia Post.

2.) How can I pay for products?

We accept all major credit cards over the phone and money orders. Sorry we cannot accept COD. Large purchases must be delivered to the address of the consumer and verified by telephone directory for security reasons. ie no deliveries to other locations such as work.

3.) What do I need to get an electric car going?

You will need a car(with motor and speed control), transmitter kit, charger and battery.

4.) What do I need to get an nitro car going?

You will need a car(with motor), transmitter, fuel, glow plug, glow plug battery and fuel filler bottle.

5.) You list car kit prices on your website. Are there any other items I need?

Manufacturers are constantly changing what is included in their kits. We endeavour to list what else required but feel free to give us a call or email regarding specific requirments.

6.) How fast do these cars go?

Electric cars start at about 10km/hr for a Tamiya QD. Kits such as the Tamiya TL01 and Super Hornet do about 25-30km/hr. Gas cars such as the Tamiya TG10 do about 50 km/hr. Of course nothing is as quick as the Schumacher Fusion which does up to 130km/hr with the help of a 3 speed transmission.
